🖤 <postcard from the sky/>
My last 4 flights were the calmest and easiest since forever. It’s the result of lots of work on me dealing with flying anxiety and with the help from pilot Mario Bakalov’s seminar. Celebrating it with this colourful moment on my last flight from Athens to Larnaca. // 1-12-2024

▲ <exhibition opening today!/> CYENS residency showcase time!
The exhibition is accessible between 16th and 20th of December between 9am and 4pm. See more info here.
There will be two game playing sessions with me:
↳ tuesday, 17th, 4pm (1 hour); and
↳ tuesday, 17th, 5pm (1 hour).
If you want to join me, sign up here.
“Our Future Is Somewhere Here” is my final work created during the residency. It is a social artistic game for people who are interested in exploring potential future scenarios and are open to asking themselves questions about the relation between past, present, and future. It is a tool for people to have valuable conversations without fighting about today's hot topics.
▶ read more on its documentation page here or
▶ visit the game’s page on my website where you can also see the video that is exhibited at ThinkerMaker Space’s gallery at the moment.

⍟ <RY X in Athens even closer/> This year I was extremely lucky to see live two of my favourite Australian bands/musicians. After Angus and Julia Stone in June (recap in July), now I got to attend a concert by Ry X in Athens. The remarkable extra thing for this one was his “Even Closer” event which was an hour-long session with him sharing some of his yoga practice, meditation, and teachings. It was an experience of connection with the rest of the group (we were around 20 people) and with him through exploration of things we would like to let go and intentions for our tomorrows. Talking about how conscious we are when we make everyday choices and what is holding us back. A beautiful energy to bring forward and definitely for the concert afterwards. This one will be long remembered.
// listen to Only, the last song at the concert that made the whole venue go completely silent <3

● <holidays season coach potato mode/> And getting into Christmas holidays mode, here are 4 things to watch if you’re looking for some good old escapism experience. Here are my recommendations! :’)
★ A Man On The Inside // I am a big Ted Danson fan and after seeing “The Good Place”, also of Michael Schur’s work. So, of course, their newest project is a total ten. It was also really lovely to watch such a captivating show with a majority of elderly actors. Perfect watch for the holidays! <3

★ The Outrun // is dealing with addiction and alcoholism through a story told in a beautiful way. I think Saoirse Ronan did a great job here telling us her character’s story in different intertwined timelines, while we get to see some really beautiful nature (and learn about it on the way). Way to go if you’re looking for a heartwarming feel-good movie. ;)
★ Sugar // Would always recommend a story that speaks about kindness. This one is told through such an interesting and unexpected angle - if you haven’t seen it, give it a go! I don’t think you will regret it.
★ My Old Ass // I think I had my take on “teenage coming of age” things and I can barely make myself watch another teen movie or series. But something about this one told me I would enjoy it and I got it right. It’s cute and perfect for watching some to make you feel good. Not without shedding a tear, of course.
